Privacy Policy

1. DEFINITION OF TERMS

1.1. "Online Store" https://cordsman.com

1.2. "Privacy Policy" - a set of rules located on the Site, concerning the collection, processing and protection of privacy of personal data of visitors to the Site.

1.3. "Administration of the Online Store" - Management of the Online Store is carried out by FLP Kopach I.K., an individual entrepreneur, registered and acting in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation of Ukraine.

1.4 "Personal Data" - any information directly or indirectly relating to a natural person (subject of personal data).

1.5. "Processing of personal data" - any action (operation) or set of actions (operations) performed with or without the use of means of automation with personal data, including collection, recording, systematisation, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), depersonalisation, blocking.

1.6. "Confidentiality of personal data" - a mandatory requirement for the Internet Store Administration to comply with the conditions of non-dissemination of personal data without the consent of the subject of personal data, except for the conditions provided in the current Privacy Policy.

1.7. "Online Store User" is a person who has access to the Online Store via the Internet and uses/views the pages of the Online Store.

1.8. "Cookies" are small text files stored on a computer or other user device and contain information about previous actions on the pages of the Online Store. In addition to account logins, they are able to remember:

  • user preferences, such as language or font size.
  • Products viewed by the user or added to the basket;
  • text the user has entered on the site before;
  • the user's IP address and location;
  • the date and time the user visited the site;
  • OS and browser version;
  • clicks and conversions.

1.9. IP address - a unique network address of a node on the Internet.


2. GENERAL PROVISIONS

2.1 The User's use of the Online Store means agreement with this Privacy Policy and the terms of processing the User's personal data.

2.2 In case of disagreement with the terms of the Privacy Policy, the User must stop using the site.

2.3 The current Privacy Policy applies only to the Online Store Https://cordsman.com and for all pages located on it. The Administration of the Online Store does not control and is not responsible for third party websites, which the User can access via the links available on the pages of https://cordsman.com.

2.4 The Administration of the Online Store does not check the validity of personal data provided by the User.


3. SUBJECT OF PRIVACY POLICY

3.1 This Privacy Policy establishes the obligation of the Administration of the Online Store on non-disclosure and protection of confidentiality of personal data, which the User provides at the request of the Administration of the Online Store when registering or placing an Order.

3.2 Personal data, allowed for processing under this Privacy Policy, is provided by the User by filling out the form on the website of the Online Store https://cordsman.com in the Checkout section may contain the following information:

3.2.1. name of the User;

3.2.2. contact telephone number;

3.2.3. electronic mail (e-mail) address;

3.2.4. locality and post office address for delivery of goods or residence of the User;

3.3. Data automatically transmitted in the process of viewing advertising blocks and visiting pages:

  • IP address;
  • Cookies;
  • information about the browser (or other programme with the help of which the Site is accessed);
  • time of visit;
  • address of the page where the ad block is located;
  • Referer (address of the previous page).

3.3.1 The Online Store collects statistics about IP-addresses of its visitors. This information is used to identify and solve technical problems and to prevent fraud.

3.3.2 Cookies may be used for the purposes of analysing the traffic and use of the Online Shop or for advertising purposes to improve the quality of services.

It is possible to disable Cookies in the settings of Internet browsers. However, disabling Cookies may result in the inability to access some sections of the Online Store, and some pages may not work properly.

3.4 Any other personal information (purchase history, etc.) is securely stored and not distributed, except as provided in clauses 5.2. and 5.3. 5.2. and 5.3. of this Privacy Policy.


4. PURPOSE OF COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA OF THE USER

4.1 The Administration of the Online Store may use the User's personal data for the following purposes:

4.1.1 Identification of the User, registered on the Website, for placing an order and (or) entering into a Distance Selling Agreement with the Online Store https://cordsman.com.

4.1.2 Organise the proper delivery of the Goods according to the data provided by the User about the delivery post office or place of residence.

4.1.9. Providing the User with effective customer and technical support in case of problems related to the use of the Online Store.

4.1.10. Providing the User, with his consent, product updates, special offers, price information, newsletters and other information on behalf of the Online Store.

4.1.11. To carry out advertising activities with the User's consent.


5. METHODS AND TERMS OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

5.1 Processing of the User's personal data is carried out without time limit by any lawful means, including in the information systems of personal data with or without the use of means of automation.

5.2 The User agrees that the Administration of the Online Store has the right to transfer personal data to third parties, in particular, courier services, postal organisations, electronic communication operators, solely for the purpose of fulfilling the User's order placed in the Online Store https://cordsman.com. 

5.3 Personal data of the User may be transferred to the authorised state authorities of Ukraine only on the grounds and in accordance with the procedure established by the current legislation of Ukraine.

5.4 In case of loss or disclosure of personal data, the Administration of the Online Store informs the User about the loss or disclosure of personal data.

5.5 The Administration of the Online Store takes the necessary organisational and technical measures to protect the User's personal information from unlawful or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, distribution, as well as other unlawful actions of third parties.

5.6 The Administration of the Online Store together with the User takes all necessary measures to prevent damage or other negative consequences caused by the loss or disclosure of the User's personal data.


6. OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTIES

6.1 The User is obliged to:

6.1.1 Provide true information regarding personal data necessary for the use of the Online Store and order processing.

6.1.2 Update, supplement the provided information about their personal data in case of changes in this information.

6.2 The Administration of the Online Store is obliged to:

6.2.1 Use the received information exclusively for the purposes specified in clause 4. of this Privacy Policy.

6.2.2 Ensure that confidential information is kept confidential, not to disclose without prior written permission of the User, as well as not to sell, exchange, publish or disclose by other possible means the personal data of the User, except for clauses. 5.2. and 5.3. of this Privacy Policy.

6.2.3 Take all possible measures to protect the confidentiality of personal data provided by the User of the Online Store.

6.2.4 Delete all available personal data related to the respective User from the moment of application or request of the User or his/her legal representative or the authorised body for the protection of the rights of personal data subjects.


7. LIABILITY OF THE PARTIES

7.1 The Administration of the Online Store is responsible for the damage caused to the User in connection with the unauthorised use of personal data, in accordance with the laws of Ukraine and this Privacy Policy, except as provided by p. p. 5.2. 5.2., 5.3. and 7.2. of this Privacy Policy.

7.2 In case of loss or disclosure of Confidential Information, the Administration of the Online Store is not responsible if this confidential information:

7.2.1. Became public domain before its loss or disclosure.

7.2.2. Was received by a third party prior to its receipt by the Administration of the Online Store.

7.2.3. Was disclosed with the User's consent.


8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

8.1 Before going to court with a claim in disputes arising from the relationship between the User of the Online Store and the Administration of the Online Store, it is obligatory to submit a claim (a written proposal for voluntary settlement of the dispute).

8.2 The recipient of the claim within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt of the claim, shall notify the applicant of the claim in writing of the results of the claim.

8.3 If no agreement is reached, the dispute will be referred to the judicial body for consideration in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine.

8.4 The current legislation of Ukraine applies to this privacy policy and the relationship between the User and the Administration of the Online Store.


9. ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

9.1 The Administration of the Online Store has the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy published on the site of the Online Store without the consent of the User.

9.2 The new Privacy Policy comes into force from the moment of its publication on the site of the Online Store, unless otherwise provided by the new version of the Privacy Policy.
